#4458 Big Bear Offroad Racing Team Bio Big Bear Offroad Racing was founded by Mike Ortega, in Running Springs California, in February 2012. Mike Ortega is the Founder and driver for Big Bear Offroad Racing (BBOR). Mike has over 12 years of experience in racing and began his racing career at the Grand Nationals in a ½ mile dirt track back in the Black Hills of South Dakota and continued to the highly modified Late Model Class. Mike had many main event wins and multiple years of top 5 finishes. Mike competed in the King of the Hammers (KOH) Everyman Challenge in Johnson Valley, California in February 2013, with the help from many friends and sponsors. In March of 2013 Mike and his wife Monica purchased an Ultra4 Buggy and in 2014 he will be moving up to race in the Ultra4 circuit at KOH. The Big Bear Offroad Racing #4458 Ultra4 Buggy inaugural race was at Glen Helen Grand Prix Race in May of 2013.
