Article by John Goodby
Bringing another chance for 2 lucky Ultra4 teams to qualify for the 2013 KOH and make some money on the way. With $2000 guaranteed Pro purses at each of the 3 rounds.  For all of you that are unfamiliar with NCRR its a 3 race series held on June 2nd, August 4th, and September 29th at Prairie City SVRA in Rancho Cordova, CA just 20 miles east of Sacramento. Running 4400, 4500, 4600, side x side stock and modified, sportsman, and street legal classes.

These races are a true test for the Ultra4 teams to run their cars at high speeds and still have to navigate rocks section in a 3-4 miles course. The course has a little of everything including rocks, jumps, whoops, quick turns and some new obstacles for this year. Every round is a new freshly built course as you race side by side with up to 10 cars in a 3 moto format.

To qualify for the 2013 KOH spots you have to sign-up for all 3 rounds and the top 2 series points leaders take the spots home. If they are already qualified then those spots will go to the next qualified team. NCRR has been known to pull some big names in Ultra4 and over the top 2 teams from 2011 finished respectively just out side of the top 20 at the 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers.

Nor Cal Rock Racing was founded by one of your own Ultra4 racers John Goodby. He has a history of racing and track building for just over 20 years. The races are known to be as much fun for the spectators as the teams racing. He always keeps the spectators in mind when designing the courses so everyone can see all the action.
