(CA, December 2013) Axial R/C Inc, manufacturers of the official R/C vehicles of ULTRA4 Racing, will once again be showing off their products in Hammertown at the 2014 Griffin King of The Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire.
Founded in 2005, Axial quickly became one of the top names in radio-controlled products, producing chassis and accessories for the rock-crawling and overland adventure segments. Known for their strong construction, realistic ‘scale’ looks, and their overall automotive enthusiasm it was an obvious choice for Axial to become an official partner of ULTRA4.
Axial’s roots are in full-size competition rock crawling, and as the sport grew and developed into what is now ULTRA4 it was obvious for the company to follow with a line of R/C vehicles directly linked to this lifestyle.
Following their successful and very popular display at KOH 2013, Axial will once again be building their own scale trail so that customers and potential customers could experience and drive an Axial SCX10 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon across and over all sorts of different scale obstacles and conditions.
Also returning is the Axial/RECON Crawlers G6 Challenge! The RECON G6 is an R/C scale adventure that will test a driver’s ability and their R/C scalers capability. A driver will navigate their Axial vehicles through a stage marked with trail markers and perform mandatory skill sections and complete driver challenges along the way. In 2013 over 40 drivers entered on the Saturday after the main KOH race, expect to see more enter this year. Further information on this event will be released soon.
So if you are attending KOH 2014, make sure to stop by Axial’s booth while you’re in Hammertown to catch up on the newest R/C vehicles, parts and technology.
